[SOLVED] Is i5 9600K enough for RTX 2080 TI

My system is:
Core i5 9600K
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 2666 Mhz
Asus Z370 Prime
Seasonic M12II Bronze 750Watt
ROG Swift PG348Q (Gsync)

Is the 9600K cpu enough for RTX 2080 TI at 3440x1440 resolution and 100hz refresh rate on gaming? Or the gpu will be bottleneck? TIA

Solution
I think it might be.

I'm running a 2080 Ti no problem with a 7800X and that isn't that much faster than the i5-9600K. Check the passmark scores....the 9600K is just a little lower.

Thanks for the reply. You were right about the passmark score, 7800X is 14572 and 9600K is 13491. I am little worried about the 100hz refresh rate. Does hyperthread plays any role at gaming? Also what about the PSU, Seasonic 750Watt is enough for the 2080 TI?? Sorry for the questions, but I don't have enough experience about the high end gpu's :)

I can't speculate about the 100Hz refresh rate as I'm not running that resolution.

I can tell you that some games aren't going to hit 100Hz at 4K for sure.

Your PSU is fine....and that's a good PSU. Although make sure you have two available 8 pin plugs.

I think it will work well for you.

Your 9600k will not bottleneck your gpu because at resolution higher than 1080p the gaming performance shifts more to the gpu side but you can get 9700k or 9900k for best performance because if you can buy rtx 2080 ti then it doesn't hurt spending more for better cpu & you should get better psu like Seasonic focus plus gold or prime for better efficiency because bronze is worst in psu efficiency & also DELL AW3418DW is better than Asus pg348q & has 120hz refresh rate & also has lower price tag.
