Is i5 Quad Core second gen good for gaming?

Solution
hmm...first i warn you to dont buy prebuilt PC,coz they might have manufacturer referbrished(repaired) parts.
built a PC is not complicated, take a look @ this video,

write down these parts i mentioned above & take a visit for computer shops in your country & collect them, assemble them your self while looking above linked video.if you're in tight budget leave the GPU(rx 470) & buy it later, when buying monitor always try to pick a 1920x1080 or at least 1600x900 resolution monitor, dont buy expensive IPS monitors, a regular TN panel monitor will do the job nicely.... good luck!!

Could you specify a couple of 'demanding' games?

I am not so good with computers, is this good?: Gaming PC Dell Quad Core i5-2400 16GB 1TB GTX 750Ti WiFi Windows 10 64-Bit Desktop PC Computer

GTA V, Battlefield 1, The Witcher 3,

It still runs these games well enough.

Ah, okay. That's good because I don't play many demanding games to be honest anyways. Thanks for your help 😀

That's a decent rig. You should be able to pull off 1080p gaming at 60fps. I wouldn't expect high graphics settings though. An SSD will benefit that system a lot.

Though if you haven't already purchased it, consider building a system on your own.

As I said, I am not good with computers so building my own will be a pain. Also I have a budget which is 600. If you can find something for me that is under about 575 then I would be very appreciative. Thanks for all the help man :)

I'm with Ecky. It's possible to build a budget system for around 575. Don't be discouraged building a P.C. It's not that difficult and it will feel very rewarding when you're done.

I would recommend you a build but I'm not sure where to start. Others that are more knowledgeable in the market right now might be able to help you out. Good luck man.

I am extremely new to all of this so maybe just find the best one you can if you aren't sure where to start because I won't be able to do any of this. I am an amateur at these types of things. So do the best you can. Thanks, bye 😀

try a new build,like below:

i3 6100 3.7Ghz($120) + ASUS H110 Motherboard($64) + Msi rx 470 4g Gaming X($200) + Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2133mhz Ram($54) + Western Digital Cavier Blue 1TB HDD($50)+ Seasonic S12 II 520($55) + ASUS 24x DVD R\w($22)
Total Cost=$565
Note:Above Prices are according to Amazon.com.
This PC will capable to run most games @1080p max settings without AA 40-60FPS.

For PSU(Power Supply Unit) Select one of those: Seasonic S12 II 520 or EVGA 500w or Antec VP 450 ...

Thats tooo complicated for me. Tbh, I didn't mention that budget is 575 including monitor. Also, I am British so I don't think I can buy the above ^^.
