Question Is i7 6500U Enough For Gaming at 1080P With Razer Core GTX 1070 (Fortnite and CSGO)

Hello there,

I currently have a Razer Blade Stealth with a i7 6500U and 8 GB of RAM. If I pair this with a GTX 1070 8 GB (Razer Core eGPU) will it be enough for playing games such as Fortnite and CSGO at 1080P settings.

Mismatch - that CPU will not clock high enough for long enough to really make use of that GPU; But yes, you'll be able to play those games with proper FPS.

It is a bit wasted getting a 1070 for 1080p.
The 1070 is best suited at 1440. So in effect you'll only ever be using a portion of the capabilities of a GTX 1070, and your CPU will have to render all the frames to keep up.

Agree same what i told my friend.He paid 3.5k for his 1060 6gb in my currency.Now he went and paid 7k for a 1070 and he only has a 1080p 60hz monitor.But my friend listen to other people not me so if he got money to waste then thats his damn problem
