As the title says is the Intel Core i3 3217U 1,8 GHz any good?

I was looking around and found an ASUS with i3 3217U 1,8 GHz...
Before you say it sucks and its the worst piece of crap, at least give it a chance

I know its not for gaming but can it run games like team fortress 2, sniper ghost warrior 2 etc?

IGP?? what do you mean by that?
Im not an hardcore gamer, i just want the laptop to handle simple games, not like crysis or anything like that

Here are the specs:

ASUS X550
- Intel Core i3 3217U 1,8 GHz
6GB DDR3 RAM
750GB HDD
NVIDIA Geforce GT 720M

ahh okey thanks :)
But im not planning to play games so much, its just for office, work and internet like youtube and stuff...
HOWEVER i might play some games when im bored, like sniper ghost warrior 2 and l4d2 etc etc

AMD APU will do all the office/internet type stuff just fine and the APU will make those games playable. I don't see them being playable on an intel IGP.

soo the i3-3217U is the one i should buy? xD

well i have bought an laptop which has an i5-3230M, its great but one problem is the wifi, its slow like hell and disconnects sometimes by itself...

But if you see at my other thread you can read that the laptop i bought with the wifi problem is only 7 days old... i just bought it and after like 2 days i noticed that it had a very weak wifi connection.... sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes sloooooooow like hell, and even sometimes it dies completely (limited acces with the yellow thingy)... the laptop is an Lenovo. That is the reason im going to pick an ASUS because of their quality

How would they know unless there is a sticker that acts as a seal to prove it was open. I know my Asus never had such a thing. I am upgrading my wireless as soon as my new wireless card comes in. Replacing the Centrino 100 that is in it with one that is 300n with bluetooth. Crossing my fingers that it works since it is also a Centrino one and Asus is more flexible than the big OEM's.

i have tried that... the wifi signal is still weak

I have an Intel i3 processor and it runs any game I have played just fine, games like blacklight and planetside 2 I have no problems with just have to have the settings on medium and it runs smooth.
