Is is possible to download games like call of duty on an nvidia shield so that you do not need to stream them?

Hey guys just wondering if that was possible to do that, because it would be cool to play games like cod bo2 on the go. any help is appreciated.

That is a good question, I would think that would depend on whether or not said game has a version of it that's playable on Android-based systems. If it doesn't then you are pretty much SOL and you will have to continue streaming it. I would think that the limitations of the hardware on Shield and Shield Tablets would prevent a lot of games from being ported over currently.

Unless it's an Android-based or ported to Android game, it's always going to be streamed from your PC.
