Hey,
Im interested in buying a cheap computer aside of my laptop so I can use it sometimes when on weekends.

Specs: HP Compaq 6005 Pro USFF Desktop AMD Athlon II x2 3.2GHz 4GB DDR3 250GB HD for 100usd after shipping.

I'll upgrade it to 8gb, 250gb ssd.

I'm wondering how good the cpu is considering the price. I'll use Visual Studio, Eclipse, Unity and more for programming. Will it survive?

Thanks

Not the greatest but it should do mostly okay for programming, Unity might be pretty laggy though. Agreed about the X4's, you could also overclock that one if you wanted to go that route. I seem to remember the Athlons overclock fairly well.
