So I'm building my first pc right now and I'm completely a novice when it comes to picking parts. Check out my list:
- Intel i7 6700K
- ASUS Strix GTX 1080 GDDR5X 8GB
- Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz
- Gigabyte 170X Gaming 5
- Samsung EVO 850 500 GB
- Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
- EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GS Power Supply
- MasterCase 5. MasterCase Pro 5

What you guys think? Please let me know if I'm picking the wrong parts and please tell me if there's a part that doesn't match with the other requirements. I invested all of my money and I only have $400 left. anyway, if there's a part that I should replace with, please recommend one. Thanks.

Hi,

You have pretty good parts there and you would like you can use this website https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/ which will tell you if there is any compatibility issues in your pc + estimation of price (part/total/tax...etc).

Basically it's all for gaming. 4k gaming? yes, but maybe in the next couple years since the monitor is a lil bit pricey right now. Currently I'm just using Asus VG248QE with 144hz. For the cpu cooler I think I'll go with Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM. What do you think?
