Is it a good idea to build a ryzen 5 2400 build if I intend to buy a gpu in the future?

Also would ryzen 5 2400 be a good option for 3d modeling software and rendering?

4 core and 8 threads may not be a very good choice for those tasks unless small budget.
What budget do you have? Is the project huge? I will probably try Ryzen 7 for those tasks.

A have a budget of about $350 lmao yea...
Huge project... not quite sure but I definitely want to try working with after effects, blender, photoshop, etc etc
But I just found out that ryzen 5 2400 (vega 11) isnt good for rendering( takes too long) and I am probably going to buy a 1050 and a crappy cpu!

what software do you use? Most of the time, higher end GPU may accelerate more but if you have a many core cpu and software supports, it should be quicker doing cpu than 1050.
