Okay so ive built a couple pc's in the past few years as im really big into it. I always wanted to overclock my cpu but was always afraid and had no idea how to. I followed a video on youtube to think ( i get 5ghz). Now i can see a really good boost in performance which is great and i got a corsair h115i so temps are fine. As i said 'think 5 ghz' i don't know if i actually did it. I went into task maneger when i was playing arma 3 and it was like 4.97ghz. Did i do it? Ill show you two photos of my temps as they seem fine.

Please give me your opinion and feedback as i've no idea what im doing :)

Solution
Keep it as high as you can without crashing. Thats why p95 for 15 minutes was not enough time.
If you can get it stable at 4.8 then go with 4.8
Would fire strike be okay?? Or do you know any others ?

Well, thats technically more of a benchmark than a stress test.
Download and run Prime95, version 26.6, small FFT test.

This will push your system harder than anything youll encounter on a daily basis, so if its stable with p95 running for a while, then its stable.
But before that, post a screenshot of your CPU-Z, you dont want to be using too high of voltage.

sorry for <xxxx> quality.
Its idle also

Thats great & thank you :) Would have a link to prime ?? They all seem sketchy :)

I ran it for 15 mins and got no problems. Temps went to a max of 89c. I know you are supposed to run for a lot longer but i thought it would only take like 5 mins :) Am i good?

Brought it down to 4.8 ghz as my pc crashed every time I rendered a video. What should I keep it at ? 4.6?
