Is it bad to buy a used Graphic Card

I am currently looking at a used 1070 that was used from April 2017 until May. Would it be a good buy or would it be bad for the time it was used?

As long as the card works and there's no issues, like lines on the screen or fans not working. It should be fine buying used.

The card was only used for a month? The other thing to look at is what it was used for? e.g. mining or gaming?
