I was just curious if its bad for my systems, or the TV, or the HDMI cables. What I am trying to say is that. I have a computer that is plugged into my TV via HDMI cable, and my PS3 is plugged into the same TV via HDMI cable and I was just curious if that burns out the cables faster or hurts the TV in any way? I am just curious. I am sure it doesnt but I would rather be safe than sorry. I usually switch between them when I am playing a match of COD or something. So about every 8 minutes for about 30 seconds. And then I switch back. I am in a hurry so the grammar may not be right and it may be hard to read. Anyway, I'll stop now. haha

Changing inputs on your TV does no harm. If you were constantly plugging and unplugging HDMI cables, you could eventually wear out the port on the TV and the cable might not stay engaged. Changing inputs no problems.

I would say it would be easier to just buy another cable than switch every 8 minutes. Kind of insane... but that's just my opinion.

As far as wearing out the cables, not really.

I do have 2 cables. I just use my remote for the TV to switch between HDMI 1 and 2 alot. So yeah. Just curious if that would wear out the cables.

I have 2 cables and all I do is switch between HDMI 1 and 2 via my TV remote. So yeah, I was curious if they got worn out because of that 😀
