Yes, hard reboots can damage your PC, and on so many levels as well. When an operating system performs a 'shutdown' on your PC, it is telling all of the components inside of your computer to power themselves down, slowly - in otherwords, they have to go through stages. When a hard reboot occurs, you're sending a jolt of electricity through all of your components.

I don't Recommend to do a Hard Reset every time just to shut your Computer Completely off....Use the Right method like everyone else even me.Close every Application and folders...Then Click on start then shut down. :benetton::benetton::benetton:

Hardware wise then yes in the long run it may cause problems. But most importantly is the software, basically windows is highly expected to get corrupted and some programs which doesn't auto save your work then you data are just gone. Not to say it can corrput necessary programs services which could easily break your system.

This usually has nothing to do with the shutdown process, unless you are going into hibernation or sleep. There could be more than one explanation to this. Some motherboards are keeping the USB ports powered even after shutdown in case you want to charge a phone or something like that. But we can't really say the main reason since there is no enough information. If you shutdown your pc from windows normally, does the LED stay on forever ? few minutes ?

This is because Your Motherboard or Bios/Windows Setting still give's power out to the Ports even when your System is off. :benetton::benetton::benetton:
That is totally Normal and i have mine activated as well And I Personally Like it because i can Charge my Phone overnight without the computer running.
