is it bad to use a HD upside down?? and is it bad to put 2 HDs on top of each other(would they get hot or something like that)??

A: No, but only if you do not exceed the maximum 'G' force rating for the power off state of the drive.

unless you are using 15,000 0r 10,000 RPM drives, I wouldnt really worry about it. I have a 7800 ibm deskstar which does get pretty warm, but I wouldnt worry about melting them unless you have one of those ultra fast spinning disks. Even then a small fan above them should do the trick.
