Is it better to use wifi or wireless repeater ethernet?

I plan to buy a roku to stream sling TV.

My router is upstairs and I have a Wireless repeater with ethernet port

Should I connect the roku via wifi or connect with the repeater's ethernet hub?

In this case, 6 of one/half dozen of the other, as you're using a Wi-Fi signal anyway. I would keep that in case you have any devices that don't have Wi-Fi capability.
