I poured a very little amount of water on a mechanical keyboard (it isn't any "waterproof" keyboard). Its not mine and it's my friend's. I'm afraid to check if its broke. Does a very little amount of water break a keyboard?

Solution
Was it just water? or some fizzy drink?

With water - you can just dry it up.
With something like coca-cola - it would make everything sticky and acids inside the drink can corrode keyboard contacts.
And I will add, with respect to @SkyNetRising 's post, what make and model keyboard?

If not just water, there may be some options available with respect to cleaning the keys, etc. per the manufacturer's instructions.

In any case if the keyboard does not work as is, then there is nothing to lose by a deeper clean if at all possible.
