I am planning to buy either of these 2 GPUs :- Asus Strix GeForce GTX960-DC20C-2GD5 OR ZOTAC GTX960 AMP ! edition 2GB 128Bit GDDR5.
can you tell me are both of these compatible with my config:

MOTHERBOARD-Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2.0
CPU-Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3220 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz (I know it will bottleneck and i plan to upgrade CPU in future but for now please tell on this basis.)
RAM: 8GB
PSU- 550W

Solution
As long as your PSU is a quality unit, it will be fine. Might you want to consider skipping a 2GB GPU and get the 4Gb version so your not wasting money on a video card that will be obsolete due to limited vRAM.

i have seen benchmarks where 2GB and 4GB have similar performance.Do you mean it will become obsolete in future or
now. Also 4GB is little out of my budget

Yes they will have similar performance, as the Vram will not increase performance until you run into bottlenecks for anything that requires more video memory. Nowadays alot of software/games can easily utilize that 2Gb and some even require more. 2Gb is just not enough anymore. I personally would just pony up the extra cash for the 4Gb to be more confident in your investment.

You will only spend another $20-40 maximum to get the 4gb card. Its really a no brainer.

thanks for explaining that. Would the 4gb matter if i never went above 720p or 1080p.
