As working together, yes they all match up, and psu is enough. Don't forget memory.

There is nothing wrong with the ver2 psu for this set up.

Thanks for the help, im actually buying the hd 7970 tomorrow since my gpu at the moment is a gt 440, haha

Look for a Corsair CX550 or CX550M.
The Cooler Master is a poor quality PSU.
