Question Is it compatible?

Hi,
I've an Asus z170 gaming pro MB and i would like to buy an ssd with pci connection.
I've thought about kingston A1000 480gb M2 drive.
Is it compatible with the MB?
MB has an M key slot and the M2 drive has a B&M key.
The size should not be a matter as MB handles its size for sure (2280) and more as well.
If you have other suggestion i would gladly accept it as well.

That's what i thought, but the guy in the shop said it is not compatible... and i do not understand why.
My only thought was that the ssd is a B&M type and not M as the slot is.
But it seems so that M key is compatible with B&M.
