Is it comsuming lot of electric?

I have a power color rx 580 devil red
It need to be plug in 6x and 8x pin i womder if it cost more electric then 1060 6gb strix asus

It does, the different is around 50W-100W, and the performance increase is not much.

Yes it uses a bit more power under load. But I wouldn't sell what I had to get a different card of the same performance based on that
