[SOLVED] Is it cool if I cover my cables like this?

As the title says, I have this rainbow looking colored cables on my front panel audio connector. It looks pretty messy, so I was thinking about wrapping it with some sort of electrical or black tape. My anxiety got me wondering if there would be any problem, that's why I'm kindly asking you guys. Would it be okay if I do this absolutely aesthetic change in this rainbow cables?
