Im planning to buy a MSI A1000G psu, i know it comes with a 12vhpwr cable that branches to 2x8 pcie cables. My gpu need 3x8 pcie. Can i use the 1x8 pcie an the 12vhpwr cables that branches to 2x8 pcie cables with this Cable Extension?

I dont know if its unsafe or not and I need help before i buy it, I plan to use the mobo and cpu extensions as well to make it look nice i dont think those will be any trouble. I am making this post because of all the burning cables i am seeing on the 12vhpwr cables.

Don't use extensions. This is how you have to connect your PSU to your GPU.

thanks ive decided to go with the corsair rm1000x, one thing I wanna ask so the "shift series" is compliant and certified with atx 3.0, does that mean even when I buy the 12vhpwr to 3x8 pcie cable I cant use atx 3.0 supported gpus?
