Hello
This is not a problem to be solved just a question about the ppls opinion here 😉

I just changed from xbox 360 to pc but was still playing with a controller than as playing black ops 3 coop with my brother we couldnt get through a part we constantly got shot down

so he suggested that i try it with keyboard and mouse and was way way easier
with controller i barely hit anybody but than with mouse it was almost always headshots
Same with alien isolation shadow of mordow (bow shooting part) and dying light (when handling weapons)

Is it just me still playing terrible on controller after 5 years or mouse +keyboard is easier even for first try?

Keyboard and Mouse is a much better control method for first person and third person shooters, as the mouse is much more accurate than trying to aim with an analog stick. Even someone really good with a controller will lose when going up against someone who is merely okay at the game who is using a mouse. Controllers still have their place in certain games, eg, driving games, games focused on third person melee combat like Assassin's Creed, or the Batman titles, and fighting games. Just don't bother using the controller for shooters, you're much better off with the mouse and keyboard.

Thank you very detailed answer :)
What is your prefered mouse and keyboard? Now im useing CANYON CNE-CKEY1 keyboard and Genius Xscroll PS2 for mouse but the keyboard has ghosting issues what would you suggest changing it to?

As Super said a mouse is much better. The main reason is the fidelity you gain and the granular control. And this has been quietly admitted through games both on consoles ie 90% of shooters and even PC games *cough* GTA V *cough* that essential put in handicaps for people using controllers which is typically deferred to as the snap feature. This is that ability that you get when you look down the sights while playing COD and it automagically aims at the enemies

Yup, I recently made the switch from console to PC too. Over the years I have heard all the fanboys insulting console gamers saying they will never be as good at first-person shooters because of the difference in accuracy. I don't disagree with them-they are actually right, but I still won't give up my controller for some games. There are many games (even on PC) that just do better with a thumbstick or two. You can't recreate that type of thumb/joystick control with a mouse and keyboard.

But yes, for accuracy and speed, mouse and keyboard win. They're just not the only way to play, like some fanboys insist.

Most fps shooters have targeting help if played with a controller , the blops series certainly do.
When targets near an enemy, quick press left trigger for zoom ,release & it will target nearest enemy.

Obviously no substitute for a mouse but for single player stuff it's good enough
I'm a couch gamer 95% of the time so a pad is a necessity to me .
Tried a trackball from the sofa but that's a whole other learning curve again from mouse or pad .

Seriously considering the steam controller , its looking a good bit of kit but needs some bugs ironing out still.

There's plenty quality keyboards out there. I'm not sure what you mean by the keyboard has ghosting issues though. Ghosting is a term to describe when your display (monitor/tv) has an afterimage of a moving object.

The best gaming keyboards are known as "mechanical" because each key on a mechanical keyboard has it's own key press switch to send it own input. On cheaper keyboards, they use a "membrane" that can only send up to like 2-3 key presses at a time. For games where you have to like move diagonally with WASD and also throw grenades, reload, change weapons, crouch, ect the membrane will kind of lockup and not send all the signals you want. A mechanical keyboard can send all your keypresses though, But they're somehwat expensive at around $80+

I mean this

I mean w+shift+space dont work and also c+w+d and other important stuff that should work 🙁

Yes i have been looking at mechanical keyboards too came across the corsair strafe rgb as the all around best that is sold here for a sensable price (156$)

but i think the coolermaster storm devastator bundle will do just fine and without spending ridiculus amounts of money :)
