ok so its something i have not really looked in to before.
Im finding hard to get a decent graphics card due to the fact i have no 6pin connectors free or at all. is it easy to find and swap out a PSU? is there a certain one i need for different pcs?

Thanks

Well most PCs use the ATX standard of PSU. about 90% of the time this is what you have and what most PSUs you can get are.

However if you have a Dell, HP, some Alienwares, and some others you may have a proprietary PSU which cannot be replaced because of its size/shape. If you let me know the exact make and model of your PC I can tell you.

Otherwise changing a PSU is pretty simple, just plug in the new wires where the old ones were, take pictures of the setup beforehand so you don't miss anything.

Excellent, any ATX PSU (which is about 90% of the market) will work in this system.

The Seasonic S12 II 520 would work perfectly on there and properly power any GPU you could get, its one of the lowest price great quality PSUs on the market.

a 750gtx but its impossible to find one that doesnt need a 6pin so im looking at other options. new psu seems to be the way to go

Whats the cheapest one that will work? i dont wanna spend too much on it as im on a tight butget.

If your current PSU doesn't have a 6 pin you want to change it anyway, it is likely REALLY bad quality.

You may want to consider the GTX 950, its the same size, usually around the same price maybe a bit more, faster and has better support for newer DirectX 12 titles.

The PSU I suggested will work or you could even save a few bucks and get the Seasonic S12 II 430 that would work fine as well.

Yea the only reason i was lookign at the GTX750 was because its the top one to get that can run power straight from the slot but i cant find one anywhere. so if i get a new psu it will open my options up more. i want something i can use for a while as i want too look at upgrading CPU at some point aswell but i will start with GPU. ill look at power supply first i think though. do the cables all come included with new PSU?

Yes every cable you need is included with that PSU.

For the GTX 750ti or GTX 950 this PSU is fine (the Seasonic S12II 430) if you want to go any better than those the Seasonic S12 II 520 is preferable because you will need that extra headroom. Keep this in mind when choosing.

Can't seem to find out which exact model PSU is in the system but it looks like it is manufactured by FSP. Although your safest bet is to replace it (the Seasonic Rogue Leader listed is excellent) you should be able to get a version of the GTX 750 ti (price similar to 750 non ti but faster) that doesn't require additional power from the PSU, here's a version from MSI.

Thats exactly what im looking for! i couldnt find it anywhere as every time i ask they tell me it requires a 6pin connector and wont have enough power from the slot

may have found a soloution, someone is willing to sell me his set up with out hard drive for £75.
intel pentium dual 3.2ghz
8gb ddr3
geforce 550ti OC gaming edition
asus H81M-e MOBO
Standard Case
mouse keyboard.

Its all working ive seen it. Sound good? i have an old pc in garage that has 1tb SSD with windows 10 on i could put in there? or if i can, take the PSU outr of his and the GPU and put it in my zoostorm? any good?

That processor is possibly slower depending on what Pentium it is.

You cannot just install a hard drive that has Win 10 already on it. It needs to be reinstalled and in some cases even a new Windows 10 license.

That GPU is fairly old, the 750ti is faster and has better/newer drive support. The GTX 950 I suggested before is even better.

You are way better off keeping what you have and getting either the 750ti Wildcard suggested, or another 750ti and a better PSU. You will end up buying a bunch of old computer parts you can barely use or need.

i mean i can take the graphics out of that? and if the PSU is low then all i will need is a PSU and not the graphics aswell, as its the OC editiong of the 750ti ive hasked him to send a pic cause if it is then it doesnt have a 6pin i believe so can just take that and keep for parts. he was running BF4 on medium settings at a good FPS so i imagine it cant be that bad

Its 5 generations old off the newest cards.

In a year or so it may not even have driver support meaning new games may not work on it.

Old computer parts have very little value.

And while his PSU may have worked, it may also be a piece of junk. I just don't see the benefit of spending 75 on stuff that is VERY outdated before you even get it.

i only play CSGO Battlefield hardline war thunder and H1Z1 new games i have for console so im not to fusse,d plus in a year i will have build my own :) i just wanted something to replace this integrated one but not over £100 and i cant find anything that will do

Your better off upgrading over getting a cheap system, spend the extra to get a good quality PSU and a DX12 compatible GPU (You will need Win10) and you'll have a good system that will last. Then when your ready to upgrade the CPU/MB/RAM then you can keep your current PSU, GPU & Case, this way you won't have to do entire system builds and can save quite a bit of money. Quality > Quantity

well i managed to barter him down to £50 as i said i wantd it for gaming and he said there was no case surround or sound card or screen. so i got a 750gtx oc 2mb and by the looks of it @(and he said) a new PSU which is one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-500W-Silent-Power-Supply/dp/B0064A9K7O . i have looked at connectors etc and all will fit so think ill put that in my current system as my PSU is only 250W. the take that and put it in a spare case with my GT610 and sell that as a cheap gaming rig to put towards what you said. i can always sell the 750 on when i do. the PSU looks like it will run most things in my pc though and has liek 2 6 pin connectors and some other spares so can upgrade graphics easier
