[SOLVED] Is it fine to use working fans from a different case?

There's an old RGB fan available from my brother's PC which stopped working some years ago (unfortunately suffered from the blue screen of death). It physically fits in my case (120mm) and I have a fan slot available, and my case is actually of the same brand as his (Sharkoon). I currently have 2 fans (same size and look very similar but black and non RGB). Is it fine to use the fan?

Yes sure, you just need to connect it to the motherboard at it will work, if it is the same fan it's even better
