Is it futureproof?

So, I am considering purchasing an Asus N56JR for both college and some casual/upper-ish gaming. I intend to play games like Thief and Watch Dog, and preferably other new releases.

Will I be able to (on Medium) with these specs:

Intel Haswell Core i5-4200H 2.8GHz (3.4 GHz Overclocked)

4 GB RAM (planning to upgrade to 8 ASAP)

Geforce 760M GPU?

That's fine, if you plan it to last 4-5 years though you will be gaming on low eventually.
