Hi guys,
I'm saving up to like 150$ for a cpu motherboard and ram, everything else i have...
But one question, will my core i7 930 bottleneck my asus gtx 660 directcu ii oc?
Thanks for reply's i appreciate it :D

Solution
I ran a GTX 660 on a i7-950 system for several years. At 1080 resolution there is no bottleneck I ever found.

Also, my GTX 1060 6GB performs nearly identical in my Ryzen 1700 system as it did in the same i7-950 I previously used.

The question is very unclear, are you going to purchase i7 930/ gtx 660 with your 150 dollars or do you already have them? In this case, why are you asking if components you already purchased are going to bottleneck. To answer your question, bottlenecking can vary, depending on how cpu or gpu intensive games you are playing are.

There is no reason to purchase i7 930, it is incredibly outdated and not worth its price anymore. I would suggest going with coffee lake or ryzen platform
