Hey guys... i am about to get a new PC and i would like to get the i5 4460.
Do you think that this processor is good for gaming?

PC Parts
2×4GB HyperX RAM 1866 DDR3
RX460 2GB
450 watt corsair PSU
Asus B85M-G C2 motherboard
Corsair carbide series 88r
120GB Corsair SSD
i5 4460

Solution
That motherboard cannot handle 1866 ram, but it runs at 1600, since 1600 of same brand was cheaper I changed it for compatibility sake on the list below. I am hoping you have another HDD to back that puny 120GB SSD. as for CPU power the 4460 isn't as much a question it is as good as a 4570 which is also comparable to the new generation of I5-6500 and the 4460 ( see 4460 vs 6500 here ) will serve you well, As for RX460 I would suggest upping that to a 1060 or a RX480, you may find it a little under powered for modern games.

Thanks a lot! These are some really good info but i did a mistake hehe my Ram sticks are 1600mhz! I went with RX460 because i am definately NOT a serious Gamer! The only games that I am going to play is LoL, MAYBE GTA V, Dota 2, and some Call of Duty tittles... in a couple of weeks i am going to get an 1TB HDD!
But for real thanks a lot!
