is it good to buy a 4Terabyte Hard disk drive ?

hey guys i just wanna ask you , is it good to buy a 4TB HDD ? or should i buy 2x 2tb hdd ?
is 4tb hdd is slower than 2tb hdd ? which is more faster ?! pls answer thanks !

I think the speeds of modern drives should be similar. Something to consider is can you afford to lose 4 gigs of data if the drive fails.
