Is it good to upgrade to RX 480 crossfire

I have a very strict budget so this is what i'm thinking, get one rx 480 now, and then upgrade when it starts to falter in games. I have a 700W PSU and GA-Z170-HD3 mobo, and good case cooling. Is this a good budget conscious decision? I guess the other option can be one gtx 1060 now and sell that and upgrade later on.

Since you're not giving a name for that 700W PSU it's probably not a very good one, so I'd advise against running Crossfire/SLI.

Well, the EVGA 700B isn't terrible but not good either, I wouldn't run Crossfire or SLI with it. It is however more than fine for running any single-card setup. Best option is to buy a single card and sell it to upgrade when you want to.

The advice used to be to add a second GPU, but with the performance of modern cards and lack of SLI/Crossfire support, a single card is generally the better option now.
