is it harmful if a graphics card is near or if it touches the heaksink of my motherboard

I want to take the zotac nvidia gtx 750 ti graphics card ,but i found out that the graphics card is going to touch my heatsink of my motherboard , is it ok if it touches it.

please help.

Its fine.

But not if the circuitry or circuit components on the card's PCB, touches a conductive part of the heatsink.

You should be fine so long as the PCB (the electronic matrix looking thing) isnt touching something conductive on a heatsink (i.e. copper).

What motherboard are you running?

Then it must be that aluminium heatsink on the chipset.

The part of your graphics card that is touching/near it should only be the plastic cover.

So its fine.
