After reading all those articles about Intel using inferior TIM on Haswell. I don’t know what to do to be on the safe side, to use my CPU in a way that won’t shorten its lifespan, to make sure it does not overheat. I don’t want to delid , I don’t play games I don’t OC. but I do a lot of rendering and editing.
My question is: Is it inevitable that the TIM in my 4790K will dry and lose its heat exchange properties over time, based on exposure to heat? How can I avoid that?
