Question is it just bad luck?

I have been using a Gigabyte X299x Aorus Master for about 6months, and I had nothing but issues with it, slowing down, page faults corrupting memory. worst motherboard ever.

so I bought a Asus thinking gigabyte is just rubbish, installed a brand new Asus Prime X299 Deluxe II and now, it's fast, but I have major network issues. I cant get over 95MBs and the second 5GB card won't even work.

are they just defective motherboards?

Maybe the problem lies in the other components of your PC.
