Is it just me, or is liquid cooling essential?

Ever since i got my antec Kuhler for my Phenom x6 1100t and over clocked it with the oc temps at 4Ghz lower than stock cooler at 3.3Ghz i havent looked back.

eyeballing new fx6300 or 8350 still unsure on which to get but im sure i'll be getting at least an h 80i with them. anyone else feel this way?

Solution
dont waste on 8300's get the 6300. just because it has 8 cores does not mean its the best out of all of them. the single core perfromance is better in the 6300, i have one in my build and i dont regret getting it. as far as liquid cooling. i ordered the h60 gen 2 and im waiting for it. got 2 day shipping but its been 4 days. 80$ cooler for 60$ i couldnt pass it up. dont get anything under a h60 cause it will suck. if you go air cooling go for the thermaltake frios, hyper 212 evo, nzxt havik 120mm and 140mm, coolermaster geminii s254 and of course the dark knight by xigmatek

you replaced the stock cooler, not a good one.
