is it me or i wasted a @$#% ton of money on pc for gaming ?

i know that any moderately high end pc outperforms consoles now (lel) , but really whats the point of spening so much $$ on a pc that has no 'beutiful' games.

honestly , i love graphics. but the games list on pc disappoints me.gta v, batman ? and a few other "revamped " games with new story seem ...well boring. they dont look uber gorgeous than their predecessors. on the other hand we have games like 'quantum break, blood borne ,last of us, the order ???? (something something)" beautiful and highly anticipated games released on consoles. =_=
i mean , they arent even that expansive , yet look beutiphul.
which makes buying a high end pc...virtually pointless.
only games gfx which i liked was ACU . i no it was terribly coded, but daum man thats the way to show gfx .

*sigh*seems like i wasted a load of money =_=. by the time some uber gorgeous games are released , it will be a time to upgrade =_=. pc gaming , just .disappointed.
im thinking of moving to console gaming and discard pcs.
recently upgraded rig:
core i5
r9 290 tri x oc
5 tb hdd

seriusly im loosing faith in pc gaming.help!

It was a bit of both. I do understand where you are coming from, but switching from pc to console isn't the best idea because the consoles just like the ps3 and xbox are going to hit their limit with graphics and will soon start to look like complete crap. It also sounds like you need to play some different games...

well isnt the currently ps version is ps4? really but my point is that the games with epic stories (note: there are exceptions)
seem to have gfx at par with mario2d on pc (not to be taken literally, understand the feelings bruh) take dark souls for instance. epic gamplay ( so ive heard) but the gfx are such a turn off.

its not like consoles dont , but the majority games are eye candy . wanted to play god of war 3 and final fantasy games . *sigh*
and to top it up , devs dont give a %^&* about pc , simply porting it with crappy code , forcing us to buy new gear =_=. man why all good games on consoles 🙁( me crie.

I play Cod AW and Titanfall on PC and Xbox One, I'm running a GTX 780 so only a tiny bit better than the 290 and all at 1080p. There is a massive difference in detail and graphic and smoothness between the One and the PC. If you can't see it you either have an issue with your PC or I suggest an eye test

i already said before hand that pc will own consoles in games it can compare with.
there arent any graphically intensive games to play on a pc as of now.cant play multiplayer because of insane pings i get in my area.
most of the time my rig is just sitting there eating dust.

edit: kinda like having an AK47 with no bullets while you watch kids playing with BB guns and having fun.ya get me?
was waiting for quantum break, bloodborne and a few other titles which i read that are console exclusive only recently.

no, i mean that it shud be nearly at par with um... lets say dragon age inquisition or ACU. i dont want it to be "so awesome that it makes quad sli config kneel'' just mean something new. battlefield 4 has great gfx , but not really a fps fan. plus wished that they were coded better so that it didnt have so many bugs. =_=. most rpgs i like have been ported.

basically, i want some beutiful games to play ! (dang infamous second son has some cool gfx) . this year is such a waste for pc gaming :/

but yea , prolly gonna go with a console if they dont start releasing good games here.
dang all the gears of war series were console exclusive except 1. =_=.
and right now we cant even emulate those games. :/

my issue is that there arent enough good looking games to actually play on a pc to utilise all dem horsepowa . =_=
its like buying a titan to play minesweeper.( metaphorically)

you are blind to the fact that game are intense. You might say that it wont be intense anymore when you start putting thousands of dollars into a computer just so they are future proof, but not as many people as you think do that

if i was indeed blind to the fact as you are saying , i woudnt have been taking names of console games so far to give a model of the games i wish to play .

thats exactly the point of spending a thousand dollars into a rig. future proofing (so i thought) is one of the reasons why people spend so much. but its all useless if you dont have many games to play. (like difference b/w mac and a pc lel)

its a thing of personal preference . some like hardcore , some like soft. but as a personal gamer ( the reason why this entire thread is going on and the reason why im asking you guys for help) i think that pc gaming cud have been much better if it werent for the exclusives. eh well . does anyone know if win 10 will cause any major game changes in console exclusive thingy?
if not , then imma get a ps4 in comming months . =_=
