My computer died tonight. The plug was not fully inserted in the battery backup, but not sue if that was it. i7 4.0 ghz cpu. corsair 1000w psu, 32 gig ram, GTX1070 video card, Corsair GTX1000 liquid cooling system. My heavy duty battery backup is fully charged, the three monitors are powered. One green light is on on the motherboard, and when I turn the psu off and on at the back, then push the startup button, the corsair liquid cooling unit led will light for half a second before fading. I will be taking it in to a shop tomorrow, because this is my work pc and I need to get a book out by next month. Any easy solutions before I spend money on it?

Solution
Instructions in your manual or can simply remove the mobo battery for a minute or so and reinsert (make sure same side up). might also want to try a different PSU if available or if you can borrow one

I have unplugged it and replugged it both from the backup and an outlet with the same result. Not sure how to reset the CMOS.
