What is my computer's major malfunction?
i7 6800k
asus rog rampage 5 edition 10

Here is a 10 min prime 95 test..
Why is core 5 sensor movement at 9? is that good or bad? (dont know why it doesnt show core 6 either..
also everytime i go to over clock be it manually or from the built in motherboard over clock it either fails to start up or it resets after a few mins on the desktop... the on-board overclock which is suppose to be good sets the multiplier to 44 in all cores and voltage to 1.300 with a +/- of 0.7 depending on system demand.

my manual overclock is x40 all cores with 1.3v and the same 0.7 +/- on system demand.

the first one through the system gets to start but crashes before my cores even get to 30 degrees, and the one I put in doesn't work at all wont boot up just stays on the press "del" for bios.

in both circumstances I reset the bios to both the multiplier to auto mode (x37) and the overclock to auto mode instead of manual and the system is stable and you see the results below.
looking at the results my cpu has about 40 degrees to go and should easily hit the built in 4.4Ghz but it fails miserably.

What is my major malfunction or the cpu or the MB's? if I cant overclock then I'm gonna put both cpu and MB in for a refund and get 1151 LGA...

I do not have the same CPU and motherboard as you. On my 2600K and P8Z68 these settings have worked and may help you achieve an overclock:
1) CPU Configuration 44
2) BCLK 101.2
That results in 4452MHz. I had 43 and 103.5 working too once, but didn't work so well after a bios update. I also had it at 44x102.3 but a new card did not like the IDE buss speed at BCLK of 102.
3) Memory XMP Profile #2 with my memory runs at 1888.
4) VRM Frequency 440. A little faster than stock. Corrects voltage droop a little quicker.
5) Phase Control: Extreme. Corrects based on temperature vs. current. My thought that I don't want one hot regulator. The other side of my brain said equal current; it lost.
6) CPU Current: 120% Cranks the voltage up a little...

only did prime 95 as it come with cpu temp and I wanted to see my max temps that I get while at 100% usage.

Also 4.4ghz is what the pre-set OC that the mb sets it too, don't forget that their overclocks are suppose to be spot on etc. and well within the limits of the processor in the first place, after all why would they set the OC to higher that the cpu can handle? (yes I know silicon valley can spew out some crap processers but it is very unlikely I have one).

after all there has to be a reason it crashes below 30 degrees it cant be that unstable surely !

also don't forget I already tried a manual OC of 4.0ghz and that failed too -.-'
 


So in other words you tried nothing I said and don't wish for help. You do see the voltage difference in what I suggested and what you used.
don't forget that their overclocks are suppose to be spot on etc Funny never use that crap to overclock all chips are different.
 



I found a missing program that my motherboard needed, going to do a new post to see if the voltage is ok ! currently 1.423v or so
