So I was gaming and my pc just shutdown randomly, I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn back on. I looked online and I removed my GPU and the PC turns back on but it acts really weird and slow and a lot of the programs I try to use will just stop responding. Another thing to note is my back fan and GPU fans would spin for just a little bit then stop and the pc wouldn't turn on. And when I turn my PC on without the gpu plugged in my back fan doesn't spin. Now my PSU does have a rip in it (just the black rubber part the protects the inner cord) and I don't know if that's the cause. So far I've tried this
1. Rollback Nvida drivers
2. Plug gpu in 2nd PCIE slot
I don't have another PC to test out the GPU in, but it's a new GPU so I am unsure if that's the probem. Also sometimes even when the GPU is out sometimes the PC won't even turn on. And another thing when my GPU is unplugged and I get to the window where I have to sign into windows a grayish/white screen pops up for like 3-4 seconds.
PC specs
i5-4440
gtx 970 4gb VRAM
16 gb ram (4*4gb)
500w PSU
Thanks in advance for the help.
