Question Is it necessary to get DDR4 RAM over 3200?

I’m planning to do a Ryzen 3000 build with the 3700x soon. I’m currently pairing it with the 5700xt and g skill DDR4 3200 RGB RAM. I assumed that 3200 would be enough, and I’m sure it is, but I’ve heard that Ryzen processors can perform better with faster ram, so I’m debating whether or not I should sacrifice the RGB and go for faster ram, or if it doesn’t matter.

3200MHz should be plenty, however I would whole heatedly recommend sacrificing RGB for faster RAM.
