Question Is it normal for case fans to keep spinning after suspension?

Got a new pc recently and I noticed both of my case fans (wired up to MOBO) keep spinning after suspension. This doesn't seem to be the case with my old pc, where the only fan that is connected to the motherboard has no problem stopping it after i tell it to suspend. Has anyone else had this issue before? How do you fix it? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like only the screen may be going to sleep and not your computer. Try resetting your power profiles in Windows. Then check your suspend settings in the BIOS.

Windows won't let me rest the power profiles for some reason, although i didn't touch them. There also don't seem to be any suspend settings in the apm section of the BIOS. It's only the case fans that keep spinning too. It did the same thing when i told it to shut off, but i changed a bios setting so that it went into erp mode and it doesn't happen anymore.
