I am wondering if this is normal as this is from my MSI GL66 Pulse Laptop. Are these normal temperatures for the average gaming laptop or not or is this dangerous? Also what can I do to lower the CPU temps as it is plugged in the wall with the auto fan settings on balanced power plan.

Solution
Yeah, that's fairly normal. Gaming laptops do run hot, and the MSI GL66 Pulse is known to be one of the hotter ones. A cooling pad can help some. I use a KLIM Wind, others like this one, IETS GT500 or 300. There are a lot to chose from.
You can also try Undervolting with ThrottleStop, that can lower temps and increase performance, if your laptop allows it. Here's a link to a video on it by Mash It.

Building a PC is one of the easiest tasks you can accomplish on your own, unless you want to spend over $3000 (the price of a new laptop). This tutorial will show you how to build your pc uae from scratch, using just an old computer, a few simple tools, and some common sense. I will also walk you through the process of purchasing the hard drive, memory, and other components for your new PC as well.
