Just got my monitor replaced. They all got one very little pixel (form of a tiny dot) Its only visible on white background. The pixel is without a colour.

Is this normal ? I have the acer xb271hu.

I dont want to change it for another monitor and end up having more than one on it.

What's your suggestion please ?

What is the kind of pixel that i have ? its only noticable on white background. and i need to move my head really close to see it.

its not normal indeed, but the regulations of monitors- LED companies do mention that replacements are only possible in case of more than 3 dead pixels.
The mfg process is like that only, they cant be 100% perfect.

Well then maybe i got a lucky panel ? I got the acer xb271hu 3 days ago. Its an ips panel. I calibrated it with low brightness and i only have minimal backlight bleed in the bottom left corner. Only visible during movies. Its very minimal. And one tiny stuck/dead pixel thats only visible on grey/white background. I think I shall keep it , aye ?
