PC Specs:
Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor
Nvidia Gefoce gtx 1050ti
8GB of Ram
Laptop: Acer predator Helios 300 17 inch 2017 model
Whenever i launch an aplication, like Battle.net or chrome, the CPU load spikes up to like 45% from 20%. It usually stays there for around 30 sec to 1 min. And when i play games, mostly games like Overwatch and other smal games on steam, it is constantly at 100% load, and tempratures peaks at 99C. The only background applications i have is Discord, Steam and Norton anti virus program. The CPU temps and load is on idle at 40C to 60C with 20-30% load, and i don't know why. My room temprature is usually around can vary from 18C to 25C. Whenever i play Overwatch for example, I have all graphics set to the lowest, the task manager says the CPU is at 100% load and Overwatch is using 80% of it, with 99C (from the Predator sense program). The GPU is fine and i still get constant 60fps with no lag, but the 100% load and 99*C on the CPU makes me kind of anxious. I thought that Overwatch was not so demanding on the CPU. Maybe im just worrying for no reason but what do i know.
I would like to increase my graphics. but im afraid of the temratures being too high and the PC not handling it. Should i worry about the temps?
