Is it normal to facebook slow down a little bit my chrome while open tabs?

Hey guys.
I'd like to know if everything is fine with my computer/system.
When I open a lot of tabs on the facebook in the same time (like photos from people) and they are still loading, my chrome slow down a lot. This "temporary" lag only fade when all the photos and stuff are completely load. Once it fades, I'm able to have 90 tabs with all the stuff and experience no lag. Like I said, this lag on the chrome only happens when the content is being load.

I tried to catch the CPU usage on the task manager when I open 9 tabs of my own profile in the same time, and the maximum usage was about 38%, with almost 30% coming from chrome.

ohk! your specs look out to be quite sincere.
just do one thing reset your browser and clear everything from saved passwords to cache. update your browser to the latest one.
