Is it normal to have worn out edges like this bottom of 7700k?

Hey, can someone check if this 7700k looks fine from the bottom. before you see pics i can tell you the cpu turns on and opens games with no visual issues except very high temps and huge fram drops(maybe from the high temps 90c-100c+ on gta 5). I just need to make sure eveything is okay from the bottom before replacing the IHS. on desktop it would be like 45c not very hot. The guy who owns this had someone break all his pc all left is this cpu.

Wow looks like someone tried to delid that with a hammer and screw driver. Hard to tell damage on the back, I'd like to see a head on shot. Does look like there may be some damage to the connections on it. Maybe the IHS has lifted off a bit and causing the thermal problems.

You could try Rockit cool and get a copper IHS replacement for like $13 and use some thermal grizzly conductonaut and kryanaut.

Looks like the PCB has been bent and flexed the pin pads causing discoloration. Given the way it looks I'm surprised it runs at all.
