ok so . i HAD a 1680x1050 monitor with i3 4160. when gaming usage would be at around 60 or 70% all the time every game. NOW i have 1920x1080 monitor with i7 4790 cpu and an extra 4gb ram(12 in total). now when i game usage locks at 97% and temps are around 65 degrees celcius is that normal?? i get worried cause this has never happened to me before i didnt think usage would go up that high cause i have better cpu but is it cause im at 1080p now? i just dont want to shorten life of gpu

also gpu is gtx 960 ssc

That's what you want to see. Haha. If your gettin good fps and don't need to oc that's even better. If you're getting warm then your case is getting rid of all that unwanted heat. Another plus. Merry Christmas buddy! Go have some fun

An OC will shorten lifespan but not that, just normal usage. And if you had vsync enabled the gpu usage will go up and down as to the demand on the card

It's working as it should. You want the GPU to be able to run at its max capability when needed, Anything less would show it is being bottlenecked by the CPU. And those temps for the GPU are also quite normal and safe.
