Hello ,
I have a PC with a GTX 1650 super the guy who built the PC didn't peel the plastic protective of my GPUs plastic part " fans not included" so should I take off my GPU and peel them or I can just leave them knowing that they don't cover any parts GPU uses for airflow
could they actually be effecting my GPUs tamps or they have nothing to do with it ?
the GPU in the photo is not actually mine it's from internet I just put it here so you can understand what i'm actually mentioning
excuse my English 😅

Those are intended to be peeled, so yes, I would spend the few minutes to remove the card and ensure all film is taken off. Assuming the fans are not covered, it likely has not negatively impacted performance, unless the exhaust is also blocked. Hope this helped, take care.

thx a lot for ur time 🤍

I'd take them off since in due time and temperature, the glue holding these protective plastic bits in place will come loose and you can end up those plastic pieces flying inside your PC. Bigger issue is when they get wedged into somewhere, causing severe issues.

Well, it wasn't the BIG piece of cellophane. It was just on the XFX logo in the middle of the fan. I decided that if it wanted to be there bad enough to hold on since 2008, I would just leave it there and I didn't take it off. 😉
I realized a couple of months ago that I didn't peel the cellophane off of my new microwave's LG logo.
