Is the heat-sink oriented correctly? What model heatsink?

Anyway - heat-sink barely touching ram heat spreader is not a problem.
You'll have problems, when ram needs to be removed. Because it doesn't seem possible without removing heat-sink first.

Le Grand Macho RT. Most people install it the other way around with the exhaust fan facing the RAM/front of computer. The way my case is setup is air blowing out from the back of the case.

As far as being installed correctly, I don't see why it can't work with the way i have it right now. I tried searching around for answers, but got nothing.

And how is fan on the heat sink oriented?
Because, if you put heat sink this way, fan needs to be flipped for air-flow to go out of the case in the back.
(thermalright sticker would be on the inside)
