[SOLVED] Is it ok that the CPU fan doesn't sit square on the heat sink?

I added 2x8 gigs of ram to my desktop. But the issue I have is the the ram slot closest to the the CPU cooler doesn't have enough space to squeeze the CPU fan flush on the heat sink. It sits about a quarter inch of the heat sink. I have the cooler master 212 evo rgb black edition. Will that effect temperature much?

This is one of the aspects of planning a build that can be tricky.

Ya, the temps never went above 63c. All is good.
