Hey forum....

I want to know if it will be fine for me to remove my motherboard's battery and place it back again in orther to reset BIOS.

And if it is ok will i be prompted for any kind of a password later on when i start up my computer?

I don't think it will reset the BIOS.

It will however reset your date and time.
There is usually a jumper or a clear CMOS button that will be able to do what you are after.

Please read the motherboard manual book for further instructions.

Removing and replacing the battery will clear the Bios and BIOS password. It will NOT change any passwords you may have in your software such as a Windows administrator or guest p/w.
