PC one & PC two are of the same brand and model, Acer aspire T3-715.
PC two is having issues.
Is it OK to borrow CPU from PC one to test PC two ?

Precautions if it is OK?

Thanks.

If you've ruled out the easier potential RAM or corrupt OS/malware issues first...; although failing CPUs are indeed relatively rare, you can at least confirm being able to rule it out with little fanfare.

(Just out of curiosity, what are the problematic system's issues/symptoms?)

Just have to make sure both PC's support the CPU's, some PC's have the same socket but wont work with some CPU's

It can be a pain to swap CPU's, and it is rare they do go bad, I've overheated and over volt the crap out of some of the CPU's I've owned like my 1100T, that CPU should of been dead many times and yet it still keeps on going.
